During this years Øya Festivalen we were asked to design a poster for one of the artists to be included in a poster-exhibition. Our artist was Raekwon, an influential figure to our music preferences while growing up. The poster plays on a lot of references, both about Raekwon as an artist and his verse on the Wu-Tang song C.R.E.A.M. We decided to dig deep and the posters communicates on a series of different levels depending on the readers knowledge about Reakwon, Wu-tang, movies, hip hop and street lingo.
